Papers of Albert Jay Nock, circa 1910-1947.

Correspondence (largely letters sent); manuscripts of books, articles, reviews, and lectures; clippings, diary, proofsheets, printed book, and memorabilia. Much of the correspondence deals with Nock's work as a lecturer at St. Stephen's College, the University of Virginia, and elsewhere, and his activities as editor of the Freeman and of the Economic Council Review of Books. I ncludes posthumous articles about Nock by Bernard Iddings Bell and others. Correspondents include Leonard Bacon, George P. Bissell, Frank W. Garrison, Lincoln R. Colcord, Edmund C. Evans, Ellen Winsor, Rebecca Winsor Evans, and S. Edward Fretz.
